Do you only advise, or also build?
Both. Dataotter is a consultancy and engineering company: we advise on where AI pays off and then build the system ourselves. That keeps the advice honest — we do not recommend what we would not build.
Do you work with companies outside Nuremberg?
Yes. We are based in Nuremberg, Bavaria, and work with clients across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the rest of the EU. Collaboration is remote-first, with on-site workshops where useful.
Is our data safe during consulting and pilots?
Yes. We agree the deployment and data handling requirements before work begins: EU hosting by default, on-premise or your own cloud where required, data processing agreements, and architectures that keep your files where they belong.
